SECILIA AMBUNDA

Secilia Ambunda is a passionate and purpose-driven young leader, currently in her third year pursuing a Law degree at the University of Namibia. With a strong commitment to social justice, education advocacy, and community upliftment, she serves as the Secretary General of the Namibia National Students Organization (NANSO), where she plays a key role in championing the rights and interests of Namibian students across the country.

In addition to her leadership in NANSO, Secilia serves as the School Liaison Officer for the Purpose Mentorship Program, where she plays a vital role in connecting

young girls with mentors and empowering the next generation of women who dream big for themselves and their communities. She is also the founder of Saviors Hand Charity Organization, a platform dedicated to supporting

vulnerable communities through various outreach programs and initiatives.

Secilia's leadership journey has been marked by her dedication to student welfare, starting as the NANSO Hage Geingob Campus Secretary in 2022, followed by serving as the NANSO Khomas Regional Executive Committee Secretary in 2023. She then rose to the position of NANSO Khomas Regional Executive Vice-Chairperson in 2023, and in 2024, she became the NANSO Khomas Regional Executive Chairperson. Her unwavering commitment and leadership further led her to being elected as the Secretary General of the NANSO National Executive Committee in 2024.

Driven by compassion, leadership, and a deep sense of responsibility, Secilia continues to be a voice for the voiceless and a catalyst for positive change in her community and beyond.
