SALOMO KAMBANDA

Salomo Kambanda is a passionate youth leader and student advocate whose journey in leadership began within the Namibian National Students Organisation (NANSO), where he served as Secretary for the Otjozondjupa Regional Executive Committee (2022–2023) and later as Acting Vice Chairperson in 2023. His

commitment to student development and empowerment continued at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), He served as the Sports and Culture Officer on the NANSO NUST Branch Executive Committee and later as sports and later on the Khomas regional executive committee. Nationally, Salomo holds the portfolio of Secretary for Sports and Culture on the NANSO National Executive Committee.

Beyond national borders, he contributes to the regional student movement as a member of the Political Education Sub-Committee under the Southern African Students Union (SASU), where he helps shape dialogue on youth consciousness and transformation. Salomo also serves as Vice President of the One Health Society, advocating for interdisciplinary collaboration in health and sustainability. A proud athlete and team player, he is part of the NUST Rugby Club both as a player and in a leadership capacity on the team's management committee. With a strong foundation in advocacy, leadership, and teamwork, Salomo remains committed to shaping inclusive spaces for youth in education, health, and sport.
