KUUNDJUAUNE KAVARI

Kuundjuaune Kavari is a final-year Accounting student at the University of Namibia, distinguished by a remarkable record of leadership and community engagement. His dedication to youth empowerment and national development is evident through his extensive experience in various roles. Kuundjuaune’s leadership journey includes serving as the acting Regional Chairperson of NANSO (Namibia National Students Organization) Khomas region and previously as the Regional Vice Chairperson of NANSO Erongo region. He also held the esteemed position of Junior Mayor of Walvis Bay in 2020. His commitment to leadership dates back to his school years, having served as headboy of Immanuel Ruiters in 2013 and headboy of Flamingo Secondary School in 2016. Beyond his student and regional leadership, Kuundjuaune has actively contributed to national initiatives as a former Future Africa Ambassador and a current BeFree Ambassador.

He has lent his voice and insights to important causes by serving on the Youth Advisory Committee of Project Hope Namibia and is currently a valued member of the Youth Advisory Panel of UNFPA Namibia. Furthermore, he was a member of the 2023 UNAM Student Parliament. In his personal time, Kuundjuaune enjoys watching soccer and engaging in discussions about the development of his beloved Namibia. He is also dedicated to personal growth and is currently learning Chinese.
