JUNIAS HAUFIKU

Junias Haufiku is currently pursuing a degree in civil engineering at the Namibia University of Science and Technology. He has a strong belief in servant leadership, serving others, mostly in helping others fight any barriers that impede on their academic journeys. This belief is credited to him serving his fellow students, as the SRC secretary for academic affairs, at the Namibia University of Science & Technology in 2024. His previous leadership roles include but are not limited to, being the Namibian Youth in Renewable Energy (NaYoRe) Volunteer Coordinator, Chairperson of the NUST Civil Engineering Society, and serving in other leadership structures of NANSO such as Secretary for Tertiary Education of the National Executive Committee. Junias currently serves as an Acting Alternate Member to the National Executive Committee. On a day-to-day basis, he continues to assist students across the country that are facing any academic challenges, at institutions of higher learning.
