Thrive Mahua

Thrive Vinomaandero Mahua is a 22 year old German Studies and Clinical Psychology student at the University of Namibia who has led in numerous capacities within NANSO, including as the Chairperson of the Otjozondjupa Regional Executive Committee and the Secretary for Gender and Social Welfare in the National Executive Committee.

Ms. Mahua is a radical feminist and writer who has worked with numerous feminist organisations in Namibia as a volunteer, speaker and project leader. In 2021, she self-published an anthology and memoir titled "What About Us?" which speaks to her experience as a survivor of sexual abuse and a queer black woman.

She prides herself as a gifted and audacious black woman who leads with passion and grace.
